High-quality photos, matched to your brand and your channels
A well-designed website still loses trust if the photos are phone snaps, leftover stock, or headshots from three different years. Visitors decide whether you look like the real thing in a glance.
Design Box Digital offers professional business photography in Melbourne, built to sit beside the websites, SEO and marketing we already run for clients. We shoot for the job the image has to do: convert a service page, fill a Shopify listing, make a LinkedIn profile look like the same company as your homepage.
Whether you need corporate headshots for the team, product photography for an online store, or workplace imagery for a brand refresh, you get assets with a brief, not a dump of nice photos.
Meet the photographers
Photography is shot by Tristan Brunsdon and Cara Grace. Same people as the website and brand brief, not a freelancer you meet once on the day.
Photography services for Melbourne businesses
Corporate headshots and team photography
One lighting setup, one crop, one look. That is what a leadership or team page actually needs.
We photograph individual and group headshots on location at your office or a nearby space that suits the brand. The set is built so new hires can be added later without the page looking like a collage. Finished files are cropped for your website, LinkedIn, email signatures, Google Business Profile and pitch decks.
Best for professional services, construction and trade businesses, agencies, clinics and any team that is currently a mix of selfies and outdated portraits.
Branding and workplace photography
Headshots introduce the people. Branding photography shows the business at work: the site, the workshop, the studio, the meeting, the job in progress.
A half-day or full-day branding shoot is scoped from a shot list tied to real pages: home, about, services, careers, case studies. We leave with a library you can use for six to twelve months across the website, social, ads and print, instead of scrambling for content every fortnight. See examples of how imagery lands on finished sites in our website examples.
Product and e-commerce photography
If you sell online, the photo is doing the selling. We shoot clean, consistent product images for Shopify and WooCommerce: white-background packshots, flat-lays, lifestyle and detail frames, with sizes and formats your store actually needs.
Because we also build and look after e-commerce sites, the brief includes crop, background, filename and alt-text habits that help listings load fast and rank. No extra round of resizing after the gallery lands.
Commercial and event photography
Launches, trade shows, facility and plant imagery, brochure and ad stills, and other one-off commercial work. Builders, architects and trades often need on-location frames for a site refresh — we plan those the same way we plan a builder or architect website.
If the photos have to live in a campaign we are already running, we plan the frames against that campaign, not in isolation.
Why businesses book Design Box for photography
- One partner, one brief. Photography, website and SEO are planned together. You are not coordinating a photographer who has never seen the sitemap.
- Platform-ready files. Images are edited, named and sized for your site, store or Google Business Profile. Existing Design Box clients can have them uploaded for you.
- On location across Melbourne. We come to you: office, site, warehouse or a space that fits the brand.
- A library, not a one-off. A single well-planned shoot typically covers six to twelve months of website, social and campaign use.
- Twenty years in digital. The photography is there to support rankings, ads and conversion, not to win a gallery prize.
Who this is for
Melbourne and Victorian businesses that need commercial imagery for marketing, including professional services (legal, finance, consulting, medical, agency); builders, architects, trades and industrial operators; retail and e-commerce brands on Shopify or WooCommerce; businesses refreshing a website and tired of stock photography; teams that have grown and no longer look like one company on the people page.
We also shoot photography as a standalone service if you already have a site and a marketing team. For Maps and local search support alongside new photos, see our local SEO work.
Who this is not for
We are not the right fit for wedding or family portrait sessions, food/menu photography, or high-end architectural and cyclorama-car work. Those need a specialist studio. If your brief is mainly a product catalogue, a team of headshots, or a website/branding refresh, we are.
How a shoot runs
- Brief. We map brand, audience, and every place the photos will be used. You get a shot list and a simple prep note (wardrobe, rooms, who needs to be on site).
- Shoot day. On location at your business or a chosen site. Rostered slots for headshots so the office is not stood down for a morning.
- Select and edit. You review a curated set. We retouch for a natural, consistent finish. Not hundreds of unedited files to sort.
- Deliver and deploy. Web, LinkedIn and print-ready files. If we look after your website, we can place them on the live pages.
What you receive
- A curated, edited gallery (not a RAW dump)
- High-resolution files for print and web-optimised versions for the site and social
- Consistent lighting and crop across the set, including square and landscape where the channels need them
- Commercial use for your website, profiles, ads and marketing materials (confirmed in the quote)
- Optional upload to your Design Box website or store
Photography packages
We quote against the brief, not a one-size package. As a guide to typical Melbourne commercial rates:
- Headshots: from around $150–$350 per person, depending on headcount, location and finish
- Branding / corporate half-day: from around $1,800
- Product photography: from around $35–$250 per finished image, depending on styling and complexity
Ways we usually scope it:
- Headshot and team session — from a single portrait to a full office in rostered slots
- Branding shoot — half-day or full-day on location for a website and social refresh
- Product photography — per product or a bulk catalogue for an online store
- Custom and event — launches, trade shows, facilities, campaigns
You get an itemised quote before anything is booked. No surprise extras on the day.
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer photography if you are not building our website?
Yes. Photography is available as a standalone service. It just works harder when it is planned with the site and SEO.
Can you shoot at our office or site?
Yes. Most corporate, branding and many product shoots happen on location so the photos look like your actual business.
How long until we get the photos?
Most galleries are delivered within 5–10 business days of the shoot. Larger team or product sets are confirmed in the quote.
